About New Land Cruiser PRADO 150:
Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 150 can rightfully be called a long-liver, who is experiencing a second restyling in his lifetime. This time, the changes have affected the design of the exterior and interior, as well as equipment.
Outside, the most significant changes occurred in front – a hood, front fenders, grille, headlights, fog lamps and front bumper have obtained a new form. Due to the new design of the front part of the body, the renewed Toyota Prado now looks more like the older Toyota Land Cruiser 200 model. However, the proprietary feature of all Prado, vertical inner grille bars have decided to retain – this tradition has been maintained since 1996. The SUV’s rear side has undergone less significant changes – it’s a new rear bumper and LED lights. 18-inch alloy wheels has been renewed. The new, more “reduced” design of the front bumper allowed to optimize the geometric passability, the headlights and grille are set higher to reduce the risk of damage during maneuvering, and the center of the hood has been shaped to enhance the downward visibility of view at the center from the driver’s seat.
The interior design became less chopped and angular and in its design again became similar to the Land Cruiser 200. Particularly, the steering wheel and shift knob of the automatic transmission are fully unified with the older model. New materials have been used for door panels and handles, leather trim with a real stitching and soft materials has been used for the knee pads on the center console sides, which frequently come into contact with the driver’s and passenger’s legs.
